Course overview

Driving awareness and strengthening knowledge about menopause across the automotive industry.

Menopause affects far more than physical health - it can influence emotional wellbeing, relationships, confidence and performance at work. Yet for many organisations, it remains misunderstood, overlooked, or difficult to talk about.

This engaging, practical training course cuts through the confusion. It provides participants with a clear, accessible understanding of menopause, the range of symptoms people may experience and how these can impact everyday life both at home and in the workplace.

Through real-life case studies, open discussion and practical workplace-focused guidance, participants will build the knowledge and confidence to respond with empathy, understanding and professionalism. The course also clarifies employers’ legal responsibilities, helping organisations create a more supportive, inclusive environment - and ensuring the right support is in place when it matters most.

By the end of the session, participants won’t just understand menopause - they’ll be better equipped to support people effectively and positively at work and home. Greater awareness helps build empathy, improve communication and reduce misunderstanding - wherever those conversations happen.

Who should attend?

The simple answer is everyone: people managers, colleagues, Men and Women should all attend.

This course empowers organisations to respond confidently and effectively. By increasing awareness around menopause, reducing stigma and equipping managers and teams with practical knowledge, to help support everyone going through the menopause. It can help retain talent, support wellbeing and improve workplace performance.

By attending, participants gain insight that supports healthier relationships at home as well as more inclusive, compassionate workplaces. Whether you’re a manager, colleague, partner, friend or family member, the knowledge and confidence gained from this course helps you offer meaningful support - and challenge stigma - in every part of life, not just at work.

Understanding menopause benefits everyone.

Why book Menopause Awareness Training

Menopause isn’t just a personal health matter - it’s a workplace issue that affects millions. In the UK, 4.4 million women over 50 are currently in work, and with the average age of menopause at 51, many experience symptoms while still building and progressing in their careers. For some, symptoms start years earlier during perimenopause, often in their 40s or even late 30s.

Yet for many organisations, it’s still misunderstood, overlooked or difficult to discuss. If workplaces don’t provide support, it can lead to increased sickness absence, lower confidence and even staff leaving. 1 in 5 women have considered leaving their jobs because of the lack of support when going through the menopause.

That’s why we’ve developed Menopause Awareness Training, designed specifically for automotive workplaces. This practical, engaging course equips managers and teams with the knowledge, tools and confidence to support colleagues with empathy, create an inclusive culture and retain experienced talent. Investing in this training is more than compliance - it’s building a workplace where everyone can perform at their best, feel valued and thrive in their role for the long term.

As an industry, we all share a responsibility to:

  • Recognise the unique health challenges both women and men face

  • Encourage open, stigma-free conversations

  • Provide practical tools and strategies that help our employees take control of their wellbeing

  • Build a culture where supporting one another is the norm, not the exception

  • Equip colleagues and managers to spot, support, and empower everyone's health - at work and beyond
