Training overview
Embracing Neurodiversity is a free online training programme created by Evolved Business Support, designed to help people working across the automotive industry better understand neurodiversity and create more inclusive, supportive workplaces.
This practical training explores different neurodevelopmental conditions helping participants understand how neurodivergence can influence the way people think, communicate and experience the workplace.
The practical training programme:
- Builds your understanding of neurodiversity and how to create a more inclusive and supportive workplace, providing practical advice you can use every day for yourself and to support others
- Explores ADHD, autism and dyslexia, helping you understand how neurodivergence can shape the way people think, communicate and experience the workplace
- Uses real-life examples, practical advice and a simple checklist. You’ll explore how small changes and greater understanding can make a meaningful difference to colleagues, customers and teams.
The training is available online, so you can complete it at a time and pace that suits you.
Training tailored to where you work

Once you've signed up, you can choose the learning pathway most relevant to your work environment and build practical knowledge that can help make a difference for your colleagues, customers, and teams.
- Office: supporting colleagues working in office-based environments to build understanding and create more inclusive day-to-day interactions.
- Production: focusing on practical ways to support inclusion within production environments and teams.
- Retail: exploring neurodiversity in the context of colleagues, customers and the retail environment.

Why understanding neurodiversity matters
At Ben, our vision is of an automotive family that thinks well, feels well, lives well and works well. A key part of this is helping create an industry where people can better understand and support one another, while recognising and valuing different ways of thinking, communicating and experiencing the world.
Creating a more inclusive workplace doesn't always require big changes. Sometimes, small adjustments, greater awareness and a little more understanding can make a real difference.
Ben Training offers a comprehensive range of face-to-face and online courses, and all profits go towards providing support for life to automotive people and their family dependents. Find more courses.
