Lynwood Care Home provides specialist dementia, residential, nursing and respite care in a comfortable, home-from-home environment where residents are welcomed as family. Our teams include Registered General Nurses and all residents have access to clinical nursing care if required.
At Lynwood, residents live in ‘houses’ of up to 15 people, so they get to know their carers and their carers know them. Comfortable en-suite private rooms, spacious kitchen/diners, cosy lounge areas and beautiful outside spaces make Lynwood a home from home where it’s easy to settle in and make friends.

Our highly trained, dedicated teams include Registered General Nurses, physiotherapists, carers and house leaders whose skills combine to provide a superb level of care. We have developed the Best Lives model which enables us to deliver clinical nursing care to every resident wherever they are, without having to move them to a nursing care unit. Our nurses are an integrated part of our care team, we don’t rely on district nurses or outside providers, so we are able to respond rapidly to residents’ clinical needs as they change.
Our excellent facilities include a café and cinema room, onsite physiotherapy centre including hydrotherapy pool, beautiful secure gardens and roof terraces and a busy schedule of activities that we tailor to accommodate everyone’s interests.

Life at Lynwood
We embrace life at Lynwood, seizing every chance to make each day special. Our dedicated activities team brings life to our home, running singalongs, quizzes, arts and crafts sessions, concerts, afternoon teas and pet therapy visits to name a few. We enjoy movie nights at Oscars, our cinema room. Residents and visitors can have drinks and snacks in The Pantry self-serve café, open 24-hours. We also have beautiful outside spaces to enjoy in finer weather, and green-fingered residents are supported to help with a little light gardening if they wish.
With dementia-trained staff and easy, open plan living areas our dementia residents are exceptionally well cared for.
