Euro Car Parts Choose Ben As Charity Partner

We are delighted to officially announce a pioneering new charity partnership with Euro Car Parts (ECP). The initiative was launched internally at the company back in August when the new Thurrock branch was opened by MP Jackie Doyle-Price. This is the first time in ECP’s history that the entire company has backed one charity with the partnership running through to 31 October 2015.

With a network of over 200 branches, and over 8,500 employees, each ECP branch and division is committed to raising funds for us over the 12 month period. To achieve this target, ECP has also committed to a Payroll Giving programme and, in conjunction with BEN, are rolling out a 12 month communications plan to extend awareness to the whole workforce and throughout their supplier and customer network. To kick things off, the company has already started adding BEN’s logo to its large fleet of vans.

As if all this wasn’t enough, ECP has also just launched a new service for their trade customers under the title of “Tools2Trade”, this van based service, crewed by specialists, will take a range of tools, diagnostics, trolley jacks and air-con equipment right to their customers doors but this won’t be all they’re carrying as each driver will be distributing information about us at the same time.

Staff at ECP are also committing to an assortment of challenge events and a number of branches are already running in-house fundraising initiatives.

Commenting on this new partnership, Nigel Rothband, BEN’s Chief Operating Officer said: “For us this is a perfect opportunity because Euro Car Parts is a growing business and they recognise that BEN exists to support our automotive community. With the company’s support Information packs have gone out to every Euro Car Parts branch, our Regional Development team are also visiting each location and we’ve been invited to regularly present at internal meetings. This is all supporting us in getting out this message that whatever the problem – stress, money worries, illness, relationship problems or bereavement – BEN is there for them and their families.”
