How to register for Kiltwalk 2025?
To register your place, you'll need to click on your preferred location below. This will take you directly to the Kiltwalk website to register and pay for your place(s) and choose 'Ben - Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund' as your chosen charity.

How much is it to take part?
The registration fee is different depending on location and difficulty. The highest cost is £20.
The Mighty Stride (20 miles)
(£20) Open to those aged 13+
The Big Stroll (11 miles)
(£20) Open to those aged 10+
This option is only available in Edinburgh.
The Wee Wander (4 miles)
(£7) Children/youths aged 5-15 years
(£13) Adults 16 years+
What does my registration fee cover?
Your registration fee covers:
- Event entry
- Digital walker pack
- Pit stop snacks & refreshments
- Kiltwalk medal
- Finishers meal
- Entertainment and encouragement along the way from Kiltie Volunteers
We will also send you a Ben t-shirt to show everyone who you're fundraising for!

How long is it?
With different distances available, there is something for everyone:
The Mighty Stride (20 miles)
Prepare yourself for the ultimate Kiltwalk challenge, The Mighty Stride is a 20-mile route, so you'll need a good fitness level to take this challenge on.
Open to young adults aged 13-15 years/adults 16 years+.
The Big Stroll (11 miles)
Get your team together and get ready for an unforgettable experience on your Big Stroll (only available in Edinburgh)! Covering 11 miles, this is a good hike to get you moving!
Open to children/youths aged 10-15 years/adults 16 years+.
The Wee Wander (4 miles)
Perfect for the whole family, the Wee Wander experience is a fun day out for everyone – even your dog can join the fun!
Open to children/youths aged 5-15 years/adults 16 years+.

Wee Wander
Open to Children/Youths aged 5-15 years/adults 16 years+.
Anyone under 18 should be accompanied and signed up by an adult to take part.
How much money do I need to raise?
We will give you tips and advice to ensure you reach or exceed your fundraising goal and support you along the way. For this challenge event we just ask you to raise as much as you can.
99.8% of automotive workers were personally affected by a health and wellbeing issue in the past 12 months. By taking on this challenge and fundraising for Ben, you’re helping us to make a life-changing difference to even more people in our industry.
