We are delighted to introduce Ben’s story for 2020-2021
(FY21) – the year when Covid-19 changed everything.
Along with many other charities, we reviewed, learned
and adapted our practices and we are immensely proud
of how we have demonstrated ‘support for life’ for those
who needed us most during this complex year
Year two of our five-year strategic plan saw further evolution in our two service areas and progress in our sustainability journey. The Coronavirus pandemic shaped the latter part of the year, as it did for all of us. However, we learned more from these challenges about the support our customers need and how to best provide this.
Every day across the UK, automotive colleagues struggle with life’s toughest challenges and need somewhere to turn. That’s why Ben is here for all automotive industry people and their family dependents today and for life.
Each year, Ben, the automotive industry charity, conducts a survey to find about the state of health & wellbeing of people who work in the UK's automotive industry and challenges affecting businesses.
Each year Ben conducts a UK wide survey to find out about the health & wellbeing of people who work or have worked in the automotive industry. This helps us understand the challenges people are facing and what issues are affecting them. We then use this to develop services to support automotive people.
Last year signified the start of our journey of transformation and the beginning of our ambitious five-year plan, which
saw us taking action on a number of initiatives within our two service areas: Health & Wellbeing services for the
automotive industry and Care Services for those in later life, in support of our mission ‘making a positive difference to
peoples’ lives’.
