What is a BenHealthCheck?

Ben health checks empower your employees to take control of their health and wellbeing. They provide an opportunity for your staff to have a one-on-one conversation about their physical health and wellbeing with a qualified health professional.

They are designed to help your workforce individually identify potential issues surrounding their health and wellbeing - and encourage them to make positive changes to help them live and work well. 

The free health check focuses on physical health and wellbeing (20 minutes), which is delivered at your worksite to allow minimal disruption to your employees' working day. We also offer a mental health check-in, which is payable.

What does a BenHealthCheck involve?

All Ben health checks are private and carried out on a one-to-one basis with a qualified health professional. In the physical health check, four tests will be carried out to test your employee's general health. Including:

• Resting heart rate 
• Blood pressure 
• Body mass index (BMI) 
• Body fat percentage 
• Mental health check-in

The health professional will then discuss the results and compare them with national health guidelines to provide a clear understanding of their current health status.

Everyone who has a health check will receive a toolkit to help them monitor their overall health and wellbeing, which is packed full of tips, advice and tools to help them confidently make positive lifestyle changes.
