The Blend event raises significant funds for Ben

In an inspiring show of community spirit and generosity from garages across the UK, this year’s Garage Hive - The Blend event, coupled with a charity hike, raised over £14,600 for Ben. This achievement highlights the incredible power of the automotive industry coming together for a common cause, driven by a shared commitment to help colleagues and their families through challenging times.

What is The Blend?

The Blend is the annual event hosted by the Garage Hive team that brings together some of the most forward-thinking and driven leaders in the UK automotive industry.  With a focus on knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration, The Blend aims to strengthen ties and drive innovation across the sector. The event is attended by professionals from automotive businesses and service providers and is packed with workshops, panel discussions and insightful conversations on the latest trends and developments in the industry.

What is Garage Hive?

Garage Hive is a leading garage management software platform. The system enables garages to streamline their operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience.  The software offers a comprehensive suite of tools, from customer relationship management (CRM) to accounting, inventory management, and workshop planning, empowering garages to work smarter and deliver better service.

The Charity Hike: A challenge for a cause

In the week leading up to The Blend, event organisers took their support for Ben one step further by organising a 17km charity hike in the Peak District. Teams at Lindleys Autocentres, Oldfields Garage and many other garages from across the country took part in this beautifully scenic walk across tough terrain for Ben.

The result: Over £14,600 raised

Through ticket sales, donations, auctions and sponsorships from The Blend event, as well as funds generated by the hike, an impressive £14,600 was raised. This contribution will go a long way in helping Ben to be there for members of the automotive community when they are struggling, or in crisis. Every pound raised will help make a difference to those facing life’s challenges, whether due to mental health, physical health, illness or financial hardship.
