Ben Moves Up Gear 300 Mile Lynwood 2 Paris Summer Cycle Challenge
- Five-day, 300-mile challenge open to all budding cyclists to raise money for BEN, the automotive industry charity
- Challenge starts at BEN’s Lynwood Care Centre on 15th June and ends in Paris on 19th June
BEN, the automotive industry charity is launching its latest two-wheeled challenge to raise money for charity initiatives. Suitable for keen cyclists, the five-day, 300-mile adventure takes place from 15th to 19th June 2016 and is open to all.
Cycling from BEN’s head office and Care Centre in Ascot, Berkshire, to Paris, France, participants will have an opportunity to see first-hand the work that BEN undertakes at Lynwood, Ascot before setting off on their 300-mile trip to the French capital. The journey itself will have something for everyone including the stunning south coast of England, Normandy D-Day landing beaches and quaint medieval market towns before crossing the finish line at the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
The trip is being sponsored by Junair Spraybooths and AGM Services, who are also putting forward a team of cyclists to raise funds for BEN. Meanwhile, Discover Adventure has partnered with the event to provide logistics, support vehicles, accommodation, food, drinks and first aid support throughout the journey.

It’s a fantastic cause and I’m just pleased that we can do our bit to help out.”

2016 will see a series of events, challenges and initiatives, designed for individuals, teams and corporate companies to participate in, aiming to help raise valuable funds and increase exposure for BEN.
