Terms and Conditions 

Competition Year 2026/27 Season 

Promoter: Ben – Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund ('Ben', 'we', 'us', 'our'), c/o Blandy and Blandy, 1 Friar Street, Reading, RG1 1DA. 

By entering Ben's Fantasy Football League you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before participating. 

1. Eligibility

1. Age and residency. You must be a UK resident aged 18 or over to enter. Ben reserves the right to request proof of age and/or residency before releasing any prize. 
2. Ben employees. Employees of Ben may enter the league but are not eligible to win cash prizes. 
3. Entry fee. The entry fee is £5 per participant (minimum) - you may choose to donate more to support Ben’s vital work. Entry is only valid once the fee has been received and your details have been submitted through Ben's Fantasy Football League webpage (see clause 2). 

2. How to Enter

1. Fantasy Premier League registration. To participate you will need to register or log in to the Fantasy Premier League site at https://fantasy.premierleague.com/. Ben is not responsible for any loss arising from a data breach or other security incident on that third-party site. 
2. Ben's registration page. Prize eligibility is conditional on submitting your entry details through Ben's Fantasy Football League webpage. Sharing a league code without completing the registration on Ben's webpage and any participant who joins via a shared code alone will be ineligible to win prizes. 
   
   

3. Prizes

1. Prize structure. The following cash prizes are available: 
   • Overall season winner (1st place): £500 
   • Overall season runner-up (2nd place): £250 
   • Overall season third place (3rd place): £100 
   • Monthly winner: £50 per qualifying month 
2. Non-cash alternatives. Cash prizes are non-exchangeable and non-transferable. No alternative will be offered unless Ben is required by law to do so. 
3. Prize fund. Prizes are funded by entry fees and/or Ben's operational budget. Ben reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion (see clause 8). 

4. Determining Winners

1. Season winner. The overall season prizes (1st, 2nd and 3rd) will be awarded to participants occupying those positions in the league table at the end of the Premier League season as determined by the Fantasy Premier League platform. 
2. Monthly winner. The monthly prize will be awarded to the individual who scores the most points within the relevant calendar month. Where a game week spans two calendar months (e.g., a game week beginning in December and concluding in January), that entire game week will be attributed to whichever month the first match of that game week falls in, as determined by the Fantasy Premier League platform's rules. 
3. Tiebreaker. In the event that two or more participants are tied on points and cannot be separated by the Fantasy Premier League platform's own tiebreaker criteria, the relevant prize will be split equally between the tied participants. 
4. Finality. All decisions regarding the award of prizes are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. 
   
   

5. Season Dates and Schedule

1. Premier League schedule. Season dates, kick-off times, postponements, and game-week structures are beyond Ben's control and may change without notice. Ben accepts no responsibility for any inconvenience caused by changes to the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League schedule. 
2. Competition end. The competition concludes when the Fantasy Premier League platform officially closes the season. Ben will notify participants of final standings as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter. 
   
   

6. Payment of Prizes

1. Notification. Ben will contact prize winners as soon as reasonably practicable following the announcement of results. If you believe you are a winner and have not heard from us, please contact us at supporterrelations@ben.org.uk. 
2. Payment timeline. Prizes will be paid into a UK bank account nominated by the winner within 28 days of the winner being verified and confirmed. 
3. Winner verification. To receive a prize, winners may be required to provide: (a) proof of identity; (b) proof of UK residency; (c) proof of age (18+); and (d) valid UK bank account details. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence within a reasonable time may result in forfeiture of the prize. 
4. Unclaimed prizes. If a prize remains unclaimed for 90 days after the date of initial notification, Ben reserves the right to withdraw the prize and re-allocate it at its sole discretion. 
   
   

7. General Conditions

1. Disqualification. Ben reserves the right to disqualify any participant who: (a) breaches these Terms and Conditions; (b) provides false or misleading information; (c) engages in conduct that Ben reasonably considers dishonest, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate. 
2. Cancellation or suspension. Ben reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion — including changing the prize structure — where it is necessary or reasonable to do so. Ben will provide reasonable notice to participants where practicable. 
3. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ben will not be liable to any participant for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in, or the awarding of a prize under, this promotion, except where such loss is caused by Ben's negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law. 
4. Governing law. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with this promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 
   
   

8. Data Protection and Privacy (GDPR)

Ben – Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund is the data controller of personal data collected in connection with this promotion. Ben is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). 

1. What data we collect. When you enter this promotion we may collect: your name, contact details (email address, telephone number), bank account details (for prize payment only), and your Fantasy Premier League username. 
2. How we use your data. Your personal data will be used to: 
   • administer the promotion and verify your entry; 
   • contact you in connection with the promotion, including to notify you if you have won; 
   • pay any prize you are entitled to receive; 
   • comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. 
     
     
3. Lawful basis. We process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests in running the promotion and, where required, on the basis of your consent. Bank account details are processed solely for the purpose of prize payment and are deleted securely once payment has been made. 
4. Data sharing. We will not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with trusted service providers who assist us in running this promotion, who are contractually required to keep your data secure and to process it only on our instructions. 
5. Retention. We will retain your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes set out above, and in any event for no longer than 12 months after the close of the competition, unless we are required to retain it for longer by law (e.g. for financial records). 
6. Your rights. Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; request erasure ('right to be forgotten'); restrict or object to processing; and data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO (www.ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully. 
7. How to exercise your rights. To exercise any of the above rights, or if you have questions about how we use your data, please contact us at supporterrelations@ben.org.uk or write to us at the address in clause 9. 
8. Third-party sites. Your registration with Fantasy Premier League at https://fantasy.premierleague.com/ is subject to that platform's own privacy policy. Ben is not responsible for the data practices of that third-party site.
