Experience the south coast’s best 10 mile event and journey past some infamous historical sites as you take on the Great South Run. Running through the historical city of Portsmouth, this flat and fast course is the perfect choice for your physical victory, your personal best, your greatest gift.
The course is packed with panoramic coastal views with a coastline route and iconic landmarks like Southsea Castle, HMS Victory, Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard and more. A staple event on the South Coast for over 30 years, thousands of local supporters turn out to cheer the runners on. Plus when you cross the line you can soak up the atmosphere of the Après Run zone with food, drinks and live music.

FAQs
How long is the route?
This race is 10-miles long. 25,000 runners will line up on the start line in Southsea, before setting off on one of the most picturesque running routes around.
The route takes runners along Clarence Esplanade and along the vibrant seafront for the first 2 miles, taking in views of Clarence Pier, Horatio Nelson’s Statue, Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth Harbour and through Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard where runners pass HMS Victory. The historic route continues, passing cathedrals and castles and beaches, before a final 2 mile stretch along the beach and the famous seafront finish line.
How old do I need to be?
You can be any age from 18+ to take part, as long as you feel able to complete the course healthily.

This registration fee for this event is £19

The fundraising target for this event is £250. We will give you tips and advice to ensure you reach or exceed your fundraising goal and support you along the way. For this challenge event we just ask you to raise as much as you can.

What if I can't raise the fundraising total?
We will give you tips and advice to ensure you reach or exceed your fundraising goal and support you along the way but would ask you to consider if you will the raise the target set. Each place comes with a cost to Ben so we need to ensure that your fundraising will benefit members of our automotive family.
